As Globalization steam roll through countries and cultures and Internet spouts
English, many great opportunities are created. They also create big havoc as
language diversity is destroyed in favor of English. It deeply saddened us when we
learned about the death of the last speaker of ancient language of bo in India.
Out of around 7000 languages spoken in the world today, nearly half of them
are in danger – likely to die out within our lifetime. One disappears about every
two weeks, a rate much greater than even the rate of extinction for biological
species.
